The Department of Accountancy has been preparing students for careers in accounting and auditing since 1967. Today’s department offers degrees at the undergraduate and master levels. The Success of our accountancy department is the result of the combined efforts of our faculty, our students, our active student accounting club, and our teaching assistant faculty.

We are very proud of our students, faculty, and staff. We strive to create and maintain an academic environment that exemplifies excellence in teaching, scholarship and ethical behavior. We emphasize the development of technical competencies through academic excellence, innovation, integrity in teaching, professional development, preparation for advanced studies, and outreach.

The department offers both undergraduate and graduate level courses.

Our graduates continue to influence the development of the accounting profession; many of our alumni hold key position in all the sectors of the economy, the government and non-for-profit organizations. 

Our goal is to offer students a rich, multicultural learning experience with academic programs that will prepare them for a productive career and a lifetime of socially responsible citizenship in the global economy.
