Public Administration Department

The Public Administration program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective and efficient leaders in both, public and private sectors. The program revolves around making students capable of understanding, functioning, and succeeding in the dynamic environment in which organizations operate. Primary skills emphasized in the program include, but not limited to, leadership, volunteerism, critical thinking, problem solving, and policy analysis. Emphasis is also placed on decision making processes within the various forces that exist in society. The program recognizes that students require a holistic understanding of the theories underpinning public and business administration to relate one functional area to another to draw upon knowledge and skills learned throughout the program to contribute to the advancement and wellbeing of society
